| Not the worst article I have ever read reviewing his career. But what is really interesting is 170 comments discussing his music! I never knew there were so many fans, I thought they were all here! |

The "Pictures of Beautiful Women" thread was brought up in the avclub comments. How long ago was that. Seems like yesterday.

Fun fact: I am posting here so much because years ago I was banned from the fan forum at FrankBlack.net, in a highly controversial thread called "Pictures of Beautiful Women." And I miss talking about FB with people.
The forum moderator was a crazy hippie guy who thought showing any pictures of a woman was horribly offensive and sexist, yet let the "Pictures of Beautiful Men" thread (by the ladies) stay up. He started permanently banning anyone who contributed to the thread. First I posted a Suicide Girl (uh this was years ago) for the hell of it, just to piss him off. Then after he said NO MORE PICTURES at all, I posted a picture of Laura Cantrell and got banned. The ban has never been lifted.

I wonder if there are more hidden gems out there that haven't yet been figured out.

There is a lot of good stuff in this OP article.
Like the way they say that 1.0 anticipated the whole alternative sound to come, and Dog in the Sand did the same with alt country.
Is the 2.0 sound anticipatory of any trends to come? |
