                      | Yarbles should go to all the shows. We all should chip in and make that happen.

                      | I was there - and in no particular order, because I wasn't keeping track, they played the following songs (I'm sure I'm missing some): Wave of Mutilation (UK Surf version), In Heaven, Here Comes Your Man, Havalina, Velouria, Where is my mind, Broken Face, Something against you, River Euphrates, I've been tired, Cactus, Vamos, NImrod's son, Monkey Gone to Heaven, Gouge Away, Hey, Allison, Blown Away, Rock Music (last song they played..), Planet of Sound, Motorway to Roswell, Wave of Mutilation (album version) and from the new songs: Bagboy, Indie Cindy, Andro Queen, What Goes Boom, Another Toe in the Ocean, Greens and Blues, Magdalena..
They definitely started with a number of songs where BF was on acoustic (i.e.: Wave (UK surf), In Heaven, Andro Queen, Here comes your man... etc.. So it was a nice build from the "quieter" numbers. The sound was really good from where I was standing (further back). New songs sound like they're getting better all the time, the more they get played.

Saw Joey Santiago and Black Francis walk into the venue through the front door, like everyone else, when they arrived at the gig.

PS: just remembered they played "Ed is Dead" and "Big Prinz"

                      | Is it wrong that I'm disappointed no new songs were debuted? I was really enjoying checking youtube every other day or so and finding a new never-before-heard Pixies song. C'mon, guys! Where're Hooray for Jaime Bravo, Ring the Bell and Snakes!?

                      | I know what you mean, Classic Masher - once you open the cookie Jar, you just want more. I'm really looking forward to the release of a couple more EP's so that there are enough new songs to really dive in, so to speak.
I also noticed that the ones from EP1 are getting some good reactions from the crowd now, maybe because people have had some time to listen to them at home. The ones that are totally new to the audience are maybe received more cautiously because people don't really know them at all. I mean, you have to put this in context: When BF steps up to the mike and sings the word "Hey!", people go into near epileptic seizures and experience multiple orgasms before he can get to "Been trying to meet you..". So the crowd still has certain expectations about the back catalog - which, of course, kicks ass. I guess it's kind of a gradual transition thing, but it's sounding really promising.

And then to read BF say in an interview that they've got 30-40 new songs recorded in some form or another!!! And we've only got the first 5! We only know the names of like 25 of them! It's an exciting time to be a Pixies/FBF fan...

Ha! That would be a dream job, to have people buy me Pixies tickets and to have me just follow them around everywhere! Excellent idea!

                      | Strange, because (except for the position of Cactus) it's exactly the same setlist as the one reported for Willyburg Music Hall, Brooklyn is this possible they played the same setlist?
