Seven of the new tunes (not counting Prinze), is that the most so far in a set? Love it that they ended with Rock Music. Keep it coming guys.....

They're having fun
First four songs really are a slow start, while the encore is full force
Kind of a crescendo gig

They did that at one of the LA shows last week as well. One version was the slow UK Surf version and the other was the Doolittle version.

Looking at the set list, I realize the space is in the wrong place. They closed w "Planet" and the encore was "Wave" (Doolittle version) and then ended w "Rock Music". This was my 6th time seeing them live... have always wanted to see Rock Music, but until last night, it didn't happen. I was very satisfied and judging by the audience reaction, everyone was really satisfied. Nice to see people moving around again. One guy even got up on stage and security had to toss him back in the crowd.

Yup, they opened the set w "Wave" (surf) and opened the encore w "Wave" (Doolittle).

There was one false start with "Motorway" and I would have liked if Kim's vox were higher in the mix, but besides that, the rest of the night was flawless. The songs sounded really punchy well rehearsed; and, Frank's voice stayed on and intact--unlike some of the youtube clips floating around. Wish I had a ticket for tonight!

I think Rock Music is a great song to end on. I love the build-up in the beginning with Dave's drumming. I know they'd open with it in the past but this could be the first time it's the last song.
