Despite my doubts about the recent events related to Pixies I must admit I really enjoy one side of the new EP and I would'nt mind going to one of the concerts in Paris. Do any of you have an extra ticket or know a way to obtain one? That would be sweeet.

wow, still drinking my concert off with a pint of beer near Olympia
Fun show,starting slowly with Wave Uk Surf, Heaven into Andro, but also Motorway, Blown Away, Vamos...
Later on Charles takes a telecaster, and in no particular order I remember Tired, gouge, Boom, Toe, Cindy, Bagboy, silver Snail, Magdalena, Monkey, Planet

A few points:
Charles played four different guitars. From Motorway onwards, he appeared to run his acoustic through the Voxes too, making a bigger, heavier sound
He swapped Teles for Velouria, with the blackguard one tuned up, removing the need for a capo.
Magdelena sounded great live. They seemed to be using more effects on some vocals, which filled out the sound a bit.
It was the most ferocious performance I've seen them do. 'I've Been Tired' was played at a blistering pace. |

I agree Magdalena sounded great, better than on the LA video
Silver Snail was slow, moody and bossanovesque
Highlights for me was their appearance on stage, under very electric applause, BF's voice which was powerful and hitting high notes, and some tracks in particular like Motorway, Blown Away, Winterlong, I've Been Tired, and a Great Sad Punk + Havalina. Crowd was singing like mad on Hey and on Gouge Away.
The band seemed happy to be there, with some complicity between BF and Joey, whether on wrong chords, on synchronized starts, or just the overall light and shadow play.
After gig was great too :)
