Someone posted Blue Eyed Hexe and Greens and Blues from last night's show at the Echo. Sound quality is pretty raunchy but we finally get to hear what the Blue Eyed Hexe is all about.

For the record: it's all about KILLER.

I love that ominous beginning.

Greens and Blues is no slouch either. :-)

Hexe sounds so simple. Not change-up at all, and quite repetitive. The song definitely ROCKS though. Chunky ass guitars.

That someone was me. Sorry about the sound quality, that's as good as it gets when you're 5 feet away from the wall of sound that is the Pixies. There's gonna be a little distortion.

Hey yarbles, thanks for putting that up. Definitely wasn't meaning to complain about the sound - it's a phone video from the first row like you said, it's expected. Just seemed like something to add. Good stuff man.

Big bouncy yarblockos to you, sir.

The pure joy that new Kim radiates is a welcome sight on the Pixies stage, if I may say so. Makes me smile.

Listened to this one several times now - Blue Eyed Hexe is an instant classic in my book. Greens is pretty good too, but Blue Eyed is a Cat 5 Face Punch in the best way possible. Can't wait to hear the studio version.

That's because released songs are too mainstream. They only care about the unreleased ones.

Greens and Blues sounds like a hit to me! Pretty great.
" I said I'm human, but you know I lied, I'm only visiting this shore....I'll soon be leaving in the outbound tide, I pray again we will meet"
Guitar licks sound fantastic. Diggin it more and more. Still not sold on Hexe though.

blue eyed hexe is sounding less like "U-Mass" and more like "bad to the bone." hmmmm.
