I acquired the original Lee Hazlewood album when I heard about this project and soon decided Son Of A Gun was one of the best songs on there and the one I was probably most excited about hearing.
Extremely disappointed now I have to say... |

I like Long Black Train too, good vocals from BF. Observation: he sings a lot of songs with 'Black' in the title (Old Black Dawning, Tight Black Rubber, Black Rider, Black Rider, Men In Black).
I was thinking a few weeks ago how cool it would be if BF and Isaac Brock actually collaborated together properly. Definitely some Pixies influence in Modest Mouse while parts of Bagboy actually reminded me of Modest Mouse, though I'm sure that's unintentional. |

This connection with Modest Mouse is great and I definitely here similitudes on Bagboy (especially the bending guitar right before the second chorus)
