Pot, you see, well, I get the impression you see a lot of bands when they come through, have you ever tried getting in, designing merchandise for any of them or local bands?
And that's a great mug, Pixiestu. I'd swig some java from that design. |

Might have been tempted to buy that mug at the doolittle gigs. As it transpired a bought a t-shirt, which is too fucking small for me and so I never wear it! Still cost me the best part of £30 quid though!
If they had printed the mug on a darker colour, let's say camouflage green or beige I might have bought it.
I spent up on merch, it was the first and only time I'd seen the Pixies, I wanted every little thing as a memory. Got a mug, t shirt, a CD of the gig... I was like a kid in a sweet shop!

About to spark open a bottle of this nectar baby, for my sins a mansize portion. 750ml bottles in Sainsbury's for £2.19 the now. It's expensive stuff, 6-7% in alcohol and matured in rum and whisky casks. A real good tasting beer with mellow vanilla/toffee afternotes and a hint of spice.
It's one of the best Scottish beers around and I've been drinking this stuff for a few years now after it appeared on the shelves. It's gaining a bit of a cult following here, so if you get the chance to sample it I'd highly recommend you do. Blonde is distinctly average, but original is very pallatible and the new rum finish one is like chocolate ice cream. For some reason it's more expensive though, but worth the extra 20-30p in supermarkets or 50-60p in pubs.
If I was rich I'd probably drink a lot more of this stuff. It's posh Scottish real ale.

^I just noticed there is a new one India Pale Ale, haven't tried that one. I thought it was the blond one, which I don't like that much. |

A cup of Zarrin Ceylon Red black tea. This is the exotic brand that cost $1.99 for a box of 100 bags at my local ethnic supermarket.

ah, if i had this back then, early teens... i'da been worshiped (even more) not that i was a typical fan; i liked the first album and the first singer more than the later stuff. Di'Anno's singing felt more raw and punk to me.
back to present. taste... nothing to write home about. still, good enough for forum writing, eh? nah, i don't know beer. alls i know is it's better than the local industrial brew. tastes fresh. quite drinkable. no metal aftertaste though. now tap water i could talk for eons |

it's a cool logo, but sadly the beer seems to just be a marketing ploy and nothing more. i think it's ironic that an Iron Maiden beer clocks in at a girlymanish 4.7 percent. thats like what a Bud Light is
with all due respect tisasawath, this is a beer:

it's that anacro-thing in Letter to Memphis, like in Ana or Speedy Marie. spells my forum name, obviously. clever Frank.
yeah, i bought that bottle just for giggles and nostalgia. was about 3 euros, seemed pricey compared to other imports on the aisle. what's an average price for a craft beer there? that breakfast stout up there looks deliciously wrong.
now on tried and true staropramen

it's actually a pretty highly acclaimed beer. hard to get in California. definitely worth trying if you can

one of my favourites. not particularly easy to find over here, but when you do it's worth buying in bulk. quite a kick.
