Used to own this album but foolishly sold it. It's a concept album based on a book written by Brian Bates (The Way of Wyrd) about I don't know medieval life in Britain or something. It's novel that centres on a monk living a thousand years ago and is based upon actual historic records of an actual monk researching into the past and discovering evidence of the existence of wizards and stuff. I own a copy of this book but I struggled to read it because is was boring as fuck. there is a follow up book discussing the history behind it, which I might read someday if I can get a hold of a copy. I'm not big on novels.
I also used to own this record on vin. I still don't know to this day what happened to my Acid Reign vin col, but hey presto by the magic of ebay I now own copies of some of their early vins, albieit not it the same condition, much to my chagrin. Best thrash punk band of their genre and widely appreciated.
A friend of mine at school submitted the lyrics from this song as his own as a poem in his CSYS English exams. He now works for the Bank of Scotland, and has ever since the last time I spoke to him which was >20 years ago. No word of a lie.
