Never heard it end like that before. I like it.
I'd heard them on the reunion tour play the first half normal tempo then the second half of the song slower but not the other way around.

I think most of the time, both the Pixies and the Catholics would start it fast and end it slow. At their last (to date) show, the Catholics played the whole thing slowly. It sounded great. I'm pretty sure the Pixies played it slow, then fast, at one of the Brixton shows in 04.
This was the first time I ever heard this ending...I think it's phenomenal.

There was a bootleg of a show from that era doing the roads here a few months ago. Might have been that exact one. Brilliant performance. |

Yes, this is an excellent performance and a very good recording. Nice find, thanks for sharing (and yes, the end was my favourite part).
