I've gotten into the habit of posting my recommendations on the what are you listening to thread, but sometimes a new band comes a long that you feel is worth shouting about
So I gave them their own thread. They are awesome. Got their won style but borrow very well from the minimal punk side of the Pixies. Bass lines and guitars, male female vocals, and most importantly a few really shit hot tracks.
I hope they tour nearby I will go to see them.
Off the new album which is featured on 3voor12 now I recommend as my absolute favourites-
I was actually going to reply to you in that other post days ago but never got round to it.
I listened to a few tracks you linked via the dutch site, but then found Crackerjack Docker on youtube. I really like that song. I've always loved in music a bass line a beat and a simple riff over the top. So so simple and classically cool like monochrome.
I checked their tour dates and they're in London once then Europe so I'll be hoping for a more northern date later in the year.
They offered two fans the chance of seeing them perform in their tiny home built shed :) just two!! that's so funny.
That's cool! Be kind of awkward though, when someone is singing to just you. I remember when Frank was strumming his guitar right in front of me and singing where is my mind? it was a wee bit embarrassing. You can see that on the clip they released, the three bobbing heads scene.
Hope they come north too, glad you like them, best new band I've discovered so far this year.
Heh. I bet you nodded and smiled. Fb's precore at Manchester's Big Hands bar I just wanted to pull out a six string and play along ha. We all just stood there and stared and smiled and said oh yeah. I remember a red double decker bus go by and me looking at the people on their way home looking at us. Man they hadn't a clue what was going on.
I haven't seen the three head bob but i'll look for it and laugh.
