Hey all

When Der Golem came out, there was other new Frank, and so I decided to "bank" it and bring it out at a later time when I was jonesing for something new. Plus, I didn't know quite how to approach it. So I'm asking the experts for advice.

Option 1: I've thought the way to do it would be to watch the movie first, in its silent version, to understand it on its own merits, and perhaps why someome might be inspired to put music to it. Then spin the album a bunch of times until I'm into the songs. Then go back and watch the movie with the soundtrack.

Option 2: Listen to the album, then watch the movie with soundtrack.

Option 3: Just put the movie and soundtrack on and go for it.

Thoughts? Other options/ideas?

I did option 2 when I first got it. It made absolutely no sense listening to the album first. I'd go for option 3 as well.

I thought a lot about it and did option 3 as well.
I didn't want to watch the movie knowing all the song as it would have distracted me from it. I think.

I've found that Dark Side goes well with practically everything. The best for me was a documentary about the moon that just happened to be on when we randomly threw it on one night.
