Does someone have an idea of how many copies have been sold of each of Pixies / FB album ?

I bought three copies of Bossanova, because my mate spilled beer on the tape and I wanted a vinyl copy for my wall.

Lol. I've bought 3 copies of Surfer Rosa, 1 cassette and 2 CDs, 2 copies of Doolittle on CD, but only one 1 copy of Bossanova.

What should we report if we buy Minotaur?

Lets see.. for CDs - I think I'm on number 4 of Teenager, 2nd Doolittle. Have 1 of everything else. Plus LPs of all the Pixies and Pistolero.

Shit. There's got to be a better way to answer this question!

OK I thought that it may be a public information in the US but obviously it is not... Maybe the way to answer my question would be to classify them from the best seller to the worst seller... Apart from the recent records for which I have no idea it could be :

Those numbers were from 2004. It would be interesting to see these numbers again, what with the reunion and all. And yes, the solo record sales would be interesting too.

Pixies - Doolittle (1989) 660,000 (01/2006)
Pixies - Bossanova (1990) 240,000 (01/2006)

This is interesting, as of October 2011 3 Pixies albums were in the top 30 sellers for Beggars Group, Canada.
