Did he sing about Zwolle? I was on the guest list for his Herman Brood tribute gig, only time I have ever been there.
Maybe I have been to the town featured in the song Holland Town, but all I know is that it begins with the letter L. Amsterdam also I suppose features in Angels come to comfort you.
I lived in Manchester for three years.
Before that I lived in Glasgow, which featured in the lyrics of the song Super Trouper by ABBA. Abba is an abbreviation for Abbabubba.

Non geography related, instead a person with the same name as a song written by Frank Black related coincidence:
There was a guy called Robert Onion in the year below me in school. He was murdered around the same time that I left home at 18 and went to university. I sat and drank a cup of coffee in the university of glasgow union on my first day as an undergraduate and read about it on the front page of the daily record. This would be around the middle of September 1990.
I also used to know a girl called Anna, but that was with two n's. and I named my dutch bike Velouria, after the song Velouria. |
