Right ok here's the deal right

My friends have become increasingly curious about my recent interest in the music of Frank Black, having me liked them more or less dissed his music altogether following the split of the Pixies

One of them asked me recently to make up a compilation of my favourite tunes so he could get an idea of what it was that inspired me to get into his music

So I said that I would make up my top ten tracks and that I would ask you guys what your top ten was, and make a double sided C90 tape up for him

from all who willingly participate I will take the average best. please mark two of your choice with a + and I will count them two times

Go

[Edit: Moved this from General Chat as it is about FB]

The reason I am asking you guys for help is because I don't have a hope in hell of picking the top ten frank black songs, there are too many and also too many classic ones. And also so many that you listen to, forget and the relisten to and realise that you hadn't really appreciated the song fully before.

Yeah it is hard. I've not even really thought about it. Might just gift him the Christmass album on iTunes.

Thanks to all for your participation in this mini project anyway.

Pong, Fiddle Riddle and Big Red.

How's your friends mental state at the moment(?) If he's been left heartbroken recently kill him off with 'I Will Run After You'.

Coastline. What a track.

No broken hearts, but he is about to turn 40 this year so might be feeling a little down about that.

Heh. I'd love a few of my friends to dig the Black like I do, but they just don't hear it. Or don't hear what I hear.

The songs I mentioned above are the ones that get some singing.
