Over the past few months I've grown fond of listening to some regular podcasts on my mp3 player while I'm going to work. It kind of gets the day going, while I try to get to work on time.
Slate's gabfests, AVClub's podcasts about movies and SoundOpinions music podcast are probably the ones I enjoy most, but I haven't looked around that much. Any suggestions? What podcasts do you guys listen to?

I haven't taken the time to download podcasts in some time, but when I did, I really enjoyed:
1) Garrison Keillor's Writer's Almanac
2) This American Life (more of a radio show than a traditional podcast, but still great)
3) Hot for Words (video podcast about philology) |

My subscriptions: The Enthusiasts Radio hour - Brian's show! FrankBlack.Net Podcast - Brian's dormant show! NPR: Car Talk Podcast The Jazz Session - I'm only behind 50 episodes. Can be excellent. The Poker Beat - I'm not really into poker but it fills time. Poker Road Radio - I'm not that into poker, rare are new episodes. PRI: Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya'Know Two Jacks in the Hole - This isn't about poker, really. Crude, funny. Two Plus Two Pokercast - OK, I'm well informed but not really into it. |

'Coffee Break French' and 'Coffee Break Spanish'. I started a new job recently where there are quite a few French and Spanish speakers, so I listen to these in the car on the way to work sometimes.
