I think this song has one of his best mixes and recordings of his career.

There are alot of little instruments humming there way through out this, including some great key work by the great producer

it is a much loved chord prgression as well, as seen and heard on youtube.

I really have related to this song alot lately, because i have wanted to move. To just get into a new and different land

Totally agree...and my favorite line is the second part of yours:

"...thinking of that paint, painted en plein air"

Absolutely one of his best wordplays. And the song itself just evokes visuals aplenty.
