I bought 2 tickets for the 4th. Site was a bit confusing and confirmation email took about 10mins to come through but I think you could print your pdf from the confirmation screen.

Don't care what they play really. Bossanova would be nice :)

's not scary - looks like a genuine attempt to sidestep all the usual presale nonsense with the tickets going to touts and auctions..

Scams aren't designed to look untoward, but like you say I am not especially concerned, but then I didn't buy tickets. (can't afford :-()

I did wonder if it was a scam at first but I think stuczuba's right. There's a link on the Troxy website to the ticket site. Sadly though I don't think I'm able to go on those days!! Hoping there will be more dates added, perhaps elsewhere in the UK. I can but hope!

Site says "PS The first of many". I hope it's the first of many gigs, not the first of many PSs...

I'm going on the 4th. A nice surprise. A rare upside to living in London.

Got both nights. I got Antwerp and Toulouse thinking they weren't coming to London, I'll still do Antwerp but now I can cancel Toulouse, this'll save me a ton of money.

Has anyone been to the Troxy? Looks like a flat floor and quite a low stage, I guess we'll have to get there early to get a good view.

It's got a small low pit pit in front of the stage that they click people in and out of, the rest of it is flat. The balcony area has some strange vip tables in front of the normal rows/seats.
Seen a few things there, always been a decent night out :)

Grrr I missed out on all the standing tickets. If anyone has a spare please let me know as it just isn't the same being in the balcony at a Pixies show. Hope they do Bossanova tracks this time round.

I guess anyone who got tickets will have got the following email. Seems they may not be just doing the same old surfer rosa/doolittle routine after all. ive had to sell my ticket as im not in the country so going to be gutted if they play more off bossanova or trompe. would love to see bird dreams of olympus mons added to future setlists.

"If you're reading this email, it means we'll see you at TROXY London for two shows in June. We're looking forward to it.

What songs do you want us to play? Reply and tell us.

La la love you,

I would request Rock Music if I was going. Can't believe they've not done such a great song since reforming - was always a live highlight for me in 90/91.

If anyone has a spare standing ticket for either show please let me know as I'd love to go. capomeister at gmail dotcom

Thanks for that link Ziggy, and for requesting it for the shows! Gives me goose bumps every time I hear Joey's guitar and the drums kick in. Motorway to Roswell will also be a good one to hear again live. Sure hope I can get a ticket for either show - if anyone has a friend or relative who drops out let me know. I'm London based so can meet anyone conveniently.

It's the quintessential opening song! The live performances from Brixton and Utrecht on Youtube are absolutely mindblowing.

Rock Music, Trompe Le Monde, The Happening, Motorway to Roswell, Blown Away, All Over the World... at least one of them should've featured regularly in the reunion setlists.

I've got to agree - was the best moment of seeing the Pixies back on the Bossanova tour and then the TLM pre-tour a year later. The crowd surge was intense. It's one of their best songs, period. Really hope they're going to play it, especially if I can get a ticket to be there! If not, hoping Ziggy and the rest enjoy it

just bought a ticket off ebay and received an email confirmation with barcode as a ticket, is this the norm? no physical tickets?

They seemed to play it in a lower key back in the day. Still has astonishing impact though.

And yeah, seems to be just an email/barcode thing.
