Pixies, including the video intro, started at 9, finished dead on 10.30pm (when the curfew kicks in).
Tube wise... was still running at midnight! Should be fine!
The curfew at the Academy is 11.00 p.m. Do I risk it and go to the gig by train Thursday? If the stage times are the same, I'd make my last train at St. Pancras at 11.30. If they play till 11.00 (as they can), I'd probably miss it. Decisions, decisions! |

They've done the house lights thing before, just for the fun of it.
Frank did this on a Frank Black and the Catholics tour too. Was Manchester, Dog in the Sand tour. During the encore he switched on the lights so he could have a good look at us and continued playing. Was very cool!
(looking forward to Pixies tonight!)

I normally hate when they do that in clubs, it tends to age me about 20 years and then all the chicks stop eyeing me up when they see my drunken red eyes. But when they did it at the SECC it was kind of nice, made it more.... like everyone came together. I can't find the word, you know what i mean. If I had just smoked some pot I'd be able to find the word, but I just got out of bed and the morning glory hasn't quite worn off yet.
