any thoughts? how about calling a song after your band name?

The Wilco Song Lyrics

Are you under the impression,
This isnt your life,
Do you dabble in depression,
Someone twisting a knife in your back,
Are you being attacked,
Oh this is a fact,
That you need to know,
Oh, oh, oh, oh Wilco,
Wilco,
Wilco will love you Baby,
When times getting tough,
All the roads you travel rough,
Have you had enough uh-oh,
Tired of being exposed to the cold,
Stare at your stereo,
Put on your headphones,
Dont pull out your hair,
Colbert, Colbert,
Colbert will love you baby,
So many wars that just cant be won,
Even before the battles begun,
This is a man with arms open wide,
A shoulder for you to cry,
Wilco,
Wilco will love you baby,
Someone twisting a knife in your back,
Are you being attacked,
Oh this is a fact,
That you need to know,
Oh, oh, oh, oh Wilco,
Wilco,
Wilco,
Wilco,
Wilco will love you Baby

my wife thinks the line "Wilco will love you baby" is pure fromage. i kind of dig it.

I am really likin' it. They have a lot of hooks in the songs...really catching on to them after about 4 or 5 listens.

I like the Wilco will love you baby line because of how he sings it. I didn't even know what he was saying until you typed the lyrics. I did think it was kind of corny to name a song after your band name. It will be a good song live however...could see it as the opening song of the concert as they sometimes take the first song on the new album and start the show with it.

Can't quite tell where I will rank this one compared to previous albums, but it's a strong effort.

I'd rather be anywhere or doing anything

college rock dorks!

I haven't heard the new album yet though there's a single with the refrain "I don't care anymore" that has grown on me with a few listens. I do think it's strange to have a song named after your own band 15 years into the bands' existence, nearly 10 albums in. Seems like a first record gimmick.

My life is dirt but you seem to make it cleaner... reduce my felony to a misdemeanor
