If you had a say for what the catholics boxset consisted of, what would it include? I know it'll most likely include the out-of-print studio albums, but since i have them all, here's what would be included in my boxset: - One More Road for the Hit - Snake Oil - Oddballs (or at least the Catholics songs from it) - Red Letter Days - SSMVGD - Other demoes/outtakes, like the ones supplied to the podcast - A live disc spanning the catholics career
One More Road/Snake Oil, and Oddballs and SSMVGD fit, or nearly, fit on one disc each, and the other ones could have their own discs.
What's on yours? |

That isTHE perfect boxset. I would buy it in a heartbeat, since it collects all the material that I don't own in physical form.
What about a b-sides disc? Or are they all more or less included in one of the mentioned discs? |

I remember when I used to think... "I wish I could have seen a live Pixies show." Now I think... "I wish I could've seen a live Frank Black & the Catholics show." |

I had that same exact thought this morning, Kelly.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

Everything everybody's mentioned so far, plus a few, ok, several live shows in their entirety.
Sigh...
I remember sitting in a basement listening to Fields of Marigold until I passed out.

FB & C's Live at The Mint Shows in LA circa 2000--best shows ever. Although a Troubadour Show in 97 was really great too. Oh and when he opened up for TMBG solo--that was a good one too. Then there's the show at the LA House of Blues circa98/99 with a suit-wearing FB... |

I don't think there's any song on Oddballs released as "FB&TC".
Also, count me in the minority but I'd want all the studio albums in there too, even though I already have them all (in several format).

Out of curiosity, why do you want all the studio albums in it if you already have them? |

The b-sides albums. Two (or three complete live shows) Unreleased recordings A booklet discussing the Catholics, from each one's perspective, perhaps some criticism or analysis as well, detailing their history, what they thought of the band, memories of performances, etc.
Something like that would be nice. |
