The first on-set pics of The Lovely Bones have appeared online, haven't read Alice Sebold's book yet, but as a Peter Jackson fan, I'm looking forward to it. Good cast too- Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Michael Imperioli...young actress Saoirse Ronan was apparently very good in Atonement, Mark Wahlberg has replaced Ryan Gosling. It's the first time Jackson has filmed outside of New Zealand-while some of it will be filmed there, he is filming in Pennsylvania right now. Anyhow, here's those pics:
