Today. An open road. Bringing the car to 90mph with I'll Be Blue turned up real loud. The car started to shake violently as a crosswind kicked up. It was epic.

Of all the Frank Black songs to listening to at 90mph I'd never have though of 'I'll Be Blue'. It seems like quite a contrast.

Taking shortie and a friend to the local Six Flags amusement park. Nothing like screaming with 6-year-olds on the spining teacups.

I can't last 60 secs on those tea cup rides. I can do roller coasters, but no spinning. |

I can only do rides that spin, not ones that drop. To each is own vestibular system, I guess. My poor kid thinks I suck...I won't go on the simplest kiddie rides but watch out at spinning cup time! We'll do that ride six times in a row.

Agreed, Daisy. PDX is in the house.

Ok, I'm just gonna come out with it: why isn't sex all over this thread? Surely I can't be the only one whose highlight is that. C'mon, people.

The highlight of my week is getting The Cult's new album!!!
The low point of my week is realizing it sucks really badly.

Attended a playoff baseball game with my sons. I've been wanting to do that since they were born. They ended up sleeping from about the sixth inning on. But it was still an amazing game, and the boys did have a great time before they tuckered out.

Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

Highlight of my (last) week was getting a new job, and going to see one of my closest friends first gigs with her new band. She rocked. More than rocked, she was amazing :D
