i just got back from an Aesop Rock concert... i was pretty dissapointed... i dont like the audience, and it was really just "heres a guy playing a turntable, and heres a 2 guys making people really excited through hype" haha, w.e. I wasnt in a good minset, maybe hip hop aint my thing.
i was thinking about seeing andrew bird soon? anyone know if hes good?

"You will not be dissapointed." - This is true. I haven't seen him live but I do have about five boots of his shows and they're as sweet as his studio discs. Bird will not disappoint. He's the real deal, and special.

Erebus, it's been too long. I've never seen Bird live either (my attempts to get to ACL this year were foiled), but I've heard a few boots and watched him live on fabchannel. Armchair is definitely one of my faves of 2007. In fact, let's start a new thread!

I've only heard a couple songs, one called MX missiles, he is a pretty sweet performer alright.

I saw Andrew Bird this year and it was easily one of the best shows I have ever seen.
