I thought that by saying they were my friend's pictures I would get some kind of response and I'd know what people thought about them.
I'm kind of private and some of my best friends- friends I've had for over 10 years- don't know that I like making pictures.

I know the paintings on the page aren't very good, but I have other paintings that I haven't taken pictures of yet.
I haven't really had an "audience" for my pictures since high school- since then, once I finished a picture I'd just put it in my closet.
From age 5 to 18, it was my life- when I was 18 I wanted to try all the things I'd missed, and to do differnt things. I've been working jobs that I'm not interested in, and whenever anyone asked me what I really wanted to do for a living I lied and said there wasn't anything.
Other than a few sketches & watercolors, I haven't done a major painting since I quit in November. Now I have all kinds of ideas for things I'd like to do, and I'm excited that people might actually see them.

If your paintings were not on myspace i might have checked them. Myspace is so lame and ugly.
Flickr.com is better for showing pictures, it was designed for it.

To be honest, jimmy, yeah, it was pretty obvious. And I never even took the link until tonight. But I'm having a really hard time with MySpace tonight. Do you have the paintings on any other site that's not such a pain in the ass?

I think your paintings are good, by the way. Maybe another site would do them even more justice.
You know, I had to login to view them, for a lot of people that's a step to much.

Seriously though, I don't recall looking at them before. I have done now and I think they're good. I don't know anything about art but I do know that I like what I see. Keep it up.

By the way, I'm going to my parents' house this weekend- that's where i keep all my old pictures, and I'm gonna snap some pictures and post them.
I've done 3 oil paintings so I'm gonna post them- I think I got a little better each time.

My friend Amy showed me how to use a scanner tonight, so I scanned some of my sketches and posted them on the page- I like all of them better than what was up there already.
I'm not feeling as shy anymore. If you have a page I'd be really happy if you added me.
This weekend I'm going to go through some of the pictures that I dumped at my parents' house down in their basement and see if any of them are good.
