I have not read Marx.
The book by Zinn that I own is "A People's History Of The United States". As you may know I am fond of the suppressed information so this book's title intrigues me.
May I ask again if you watched "OutFoxed" or may be watching "American Blackout" and what your opinion may be?

The name fits. I've read that Yastrzemski, while a great player, was an owners-puppet and took the position that Curt Flood was ruining the game with free agency.
I never really thought of my screen name as my identity but you probably do. I find people who are grasping for an identity do these things. I bet your answering machine is used as a showcase for how witty you are.
My answering machine message is recorded by my wife, but keep trying.
So, you're not a Red Sox fan? You don't think of that as part of your identity?
I am a Red Sox fan but they are not part of my identity. i am not grasping for an identity. Perhaps your wife is witty.
Then you're not a real Red Sox fan. |

So how was the movie? Or are you only in the discussion when you want to be?
The fact that LBF responds that way in all of his posts makes it very amusing.

Ahh outfoxed. To begin with this movie was all funded by groups such as moveon and mediamatters which are both extremist groups. Greenwald is doing this film about objectivity when he has none himself. The film starts by showing what Murdoch owns and how somehow this is bad. (class warfare) Is there any corrolation between wealth and being bad ? I dont think so. The second scene show how ailes worked for republicans in the past so he is unable to be objective. Using this way of thinking the whole film outfoxed would be unobjective. I could rip apart each segment of the show quite easily. For someone so concerned about propaganda you sure dont know it when it hits you in the face. I am not saying fox is not right leaning but in one of my earlier posts I called all media biased. I find it amusing how the right has one channel and the left is in absolute hysteria. For years when we only had three or four news sources they were all on the left. Our paper of record was the new york times---about as left as you can get. Nevermind PBS and NPR which both have thousands of outlets and lets just say are very biased. This film is on par with Sicko as far as documentaries are concerned---total propaganda. The list of lefty news sources, print or television far outweighs the right. If you would like to argue the point feel free---I will crush you.
