What do you do for a living?

I'm a newspaper reporter and a novelist -- one of those two gigs I'm about ready to quit. Guess which one.

misterwoe, perhaps you will find helpful or at least interesting this quote by an author for which I have much affection, Mordecai Richler. He said, "I take my journalism very seriously and I enjoy doing it between novels. It gives me an opportunity to move in the outside world."
