That's weird really I'm sure they met circa december 1991, when Kurt saw the Pixies on stage for the first and last time. I can't remember where I've read it, but I think it was after the 22 december gig, in Los Angeles.
i remember reading somewhere that kurt switched the nameplate on a table that was meant for frank and his girlfriend at the time with one for the ramones, so the ramones had a table for 2 and frank had a table for 4, cant remember exactly where it was i think some festival in europe,
I was slightly pissed off there was no Frank footage in the vid "The Year Punk Broke". I doubt it had anything to do with Sonic Youth being behind the camera, though.
