I know we have several threads for sexual perversions, but this one freaked me out so bad when I heard about it that I decided it deserves its own.
According my friend who is a medical student, some people, when they get a colostomy, use the hole -- called a stoma -- for sex. Once, when my friend was working at a city hospital, a patient asked her, "When can I start using this?" He meant for sex. And another came in with genital warts on his side, near the hole.
Tell me this isn't one of the more extreme perversions you've heard of. And if any of you other forum members are practitioners of colostomy sex, please pardon me for this thread.

I told some fellow nurses about this and they were all shocked! Never heard of anything like this and we've seen a lot. One nurse kept going on and on about the "mental image."

I've heard people say they would 'shag a stab wound' but that's ridiculous.
However, aside from the obvious unfamiliarity of it, is there any reason why you couldn't? *strokes chin*

Colostomies are certainly no laughing matter. And I hope I haven't seemed like I'm making light of people who have them. (Just those who misuse them.) Check out this link, in which a guy describes his change in lifestyle as a result of his colostomy (and the illness leading to his having it done).
