What's wrong with the ones you're already wearing? I'd get two more of those.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.
There's nothing "wrong" with them, I just don't like them. Plus I feel stupid 'cos I've seen at least 20 people wearing the exact same shoes as me in the last 3 or 4 days. If I was satisfied with the ones I have now I wouldn't get new ones: mine are perfectly fine.
It's just, I don't like having the same shirt as someone else, and it goes for shoes, too.

I wasn't going to be the first to admit here that I wear them, but I do. Mine are red, and I wear them mainly for gardening. Even President Bush was photographed wearing a pair the other day (black ones, with black socks).
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.
Well now if you want to keep up with the kidz, you have to get jibbitz:
www.jibbitz.com
I got my son's initials on mine. And, ahem, some rhinestones. On my orange Crocs (like Mario Batali).
The only problem I see with Crocs is that they make you your true height (in my case, shorter). Not easy to score with the ladies wearing Crocs. Regular shoes give you that inch and a half or so height bonus.

That's funny -- I've been planning to get the orange ones like Mario Batali for about a year now. But not until my red ones wear out, which is taking what seems like an eternity. They're good shoes, they really are.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

By crocs, do you mean the ugliest shoes ever made? So ugly, I can't make myself post a photo here?
I was never so proud as a parent as when my child refused to wear the pair that a well-meaning friend bought for her.
Nothing personal, Jefrey. At least yours have rhinestones on' em. That's cool.

Hey, I readily admit. Ugliest shoes ever made. I take no offense because me feet are comfy and my back doesn't hurt as much. I guess the older you get, the uglier the shoes because you just care about not feeling pain all day long :)
I also have a bunch of Piloti driving shoes. Very stylish and almost as comfortable as Crocs. But you have to, you know, tie them and stuff.

Yeah, that's what I thought too before it cured 6 six fucking years of back pain. Looking gay doing yoga in tights and a wife beater is worth the tradeoff, I say.

Was that in the Drunk thread? LOL! The only thing better would be doing yoga in Spicoli's Vans.
I dunno about these 80's Vans clones. To me they're (and always have been) uglier than Crocs. Maybe it's because I couldn't afford real ones back in the day and I'm bitter. But I did have real Sperry Topsiders. Go figure. I remember back in the 80's those Vans were hella expensive, like $40 or something for those slip-ons. And if you wore fake ones you got your ass kicked. Same with red tag Levis. The orange tag ones were still genuine, but didn't have the button fly, which is kind of a pain in the ass. but you got all kinds of shit if you didn't have the red tags for some reason.
I digress. 80's fashion is a fascinating topic of its own.

They're still $40, Jefrey. Some are even $50 but that's retarded.

$40 in 1983 = $83.50 in 2007. My pops was not willing to shell out $85 for some canvas shoes. $40 in 2007 is still probably overpriced, but not completely unreasonable. Then again, Crocs are $40 and I paid that for a chunk of foam, so I guess I'm a sucker too.

Most shoes are like $30 or $40, I thought Crocs were a little cheaper? Like $20? Maybe not.

Can you post a pic of the ones with fairies on them?
See, the thing with Crocs is that the people wearing them know that they're so damn comfortable that we couldn't give two shits about people making fun of us. We know you are, but we know what you don't know, and that is that our feet are feeling fine as wine. It's like those Dr. Sholl's gel insert commercials where the people that are "gellin" know that they're in an exclusive club.
Anyway I can't tell you how many cute nurses talk to me at hospitals and clinics because they pretty much all wear Crocs :)

Do we have any cute nurses on the forum? If so, can you confirm that Jefrey sounds worth talking to? And does he possibly seem hot?

I've been called "cute" but (definitely) never "hot". Which I thought was cool for a time until I realized it's kind of like being a hot girl's gay friend. They'll talk to you but you have no chance.
Some of the cute nurses of which I speak I would classify as "hot," and would never have given me the time of day if not to discuss the awesomeness of Crocs. This I am sure of.
So say what you will about Crocs, but if you want to hit on cute and/or hot nurses, throw on some Crocs and hit the hospital scene. I guarantee you could get a date or at least a phone number.
Kind of like using your dog at the dog park to get dates, you know?

couldn't find a picture of the fairy one anywhere. they make like a bazillion patterns, and i don't even think the vans website shows them all. or they couldve been made by another company (i think keds make them, or something).

Yuck! I hate Crocs! I hate 'em even more on guys! Besides, real nurses don't wear Crocs...they have holes in them and that's an infection control risk (you could drop a needle in there...or something).
Sorry, Jefrey (I still think you're cool, though)
