Hi folks,

Long time FB fan, long time lurker, first time poster!

Not sure if this has been posted, but stumbled across this interview with Frank...starts about 20 mins into the show. Very cool moment with baby Jack in the backround

Cheers

Nice one, Ash. I've been scanning around for something to read or listen to for the past ten minutes.

My favorite quote has to be : "They asked me for a bonus track so of course I used the excuse to make a record" !

Great interview I thought. Guy Garvey is quite verbose. Dont like the edited down version of Threshold though - sounds all wonky.

Yep. He'd fit in well here.

Thanks, nice relaxed and quite revealing interview. He clearly really did want to make a Pixies record. Never thought I'd hear an interview with FB where he mentions Terry Wogan!

I guess it answers one question though which is that there won't be any UK dates other than London. At least that's what it sounded like given that he said the tour ended there.

Why Garvey thought FB would have heard of Wogan remains a mystery.

I remember reading an FB interview where he expressed his appreciation of Countdown (cosy UK daytime words & numbers gameshow beloved of senior citizens) so he could well be aware of Wogan!

Maybe that's why he wants to move to Europe.

What songs? (I can't download at work, but I'm curious to know what they are.)

Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.
