if you see any shots like these in the Shepherds Bush thread it's because we invaded the stage. |

I am so disappointed I didn't see this before. Rémi tried to contact me by email but I only saw it after the show.

When you're this far away, and the man's singing the Bluefinger tracks on the other side of the world, then you'll take any video you can these. Thanks for these, Denis.

Yeah, they're pretty enjoyable. Thanks!
Still a little underwhelmed by the sound of the band itself though. |

Seriously, the sound on the videos is nothing like the real thing. The band sounded great, trust me. I love power trios anyway.
Thanks for the kudos, folks.

she said you're a natural.
off topic, have you met Jennifer Tilly? I see you worked on 'The Crew'. I see her all the time on Poker Superstars. I don't know what it is about her, but...well I do, actually. I just don't want to say it in fear of breaking any rules. |

i actually did get to meet her on that. that's the first film job i ever had. i had a pretty big crush on her (from BOUND) and found out that i had to meet her to show her how to get to this screening room. it was pretty exciting. she was really laid back and not stuffy in person (dressed very casually, though still hot).. i remember she had this guy with her who was almost my age at the time, and in my fantasy world i was thinking mabye she'd actually consider dating me. cuz maybe she's so cool that she wouldn't be opposed to dating a PA. that didn't work out for me. i still have a crush on her actually. i mean, i would if i didn't have a girlfriend.
let's talk about Paris! |

Thanks for the nice review. I've read only good things about this gig, which was a nice surprise. popnews.com was very positive too.
Once small thing about your review though: Frank didn't respect the written setlist at all. Abstract Plain and All My Ghosts weren't played (alas) and the order was changed completely. Can't remember the correct one though.
By the way... What the hell does "Albarn song" mean on the setlist? Frank Black covering Blur? That's nightmarish!

Looks like it's the setlist of the Salem show.
