I'd love it if there were enough topics about books and movies to warrant their own category, but generally there aren't. If that changes, I'll be quite happy to create a category, but we're nowhere near that number now.

I love the idea of a movies category and a books category.
Why not try it? Having such categories might spawn the breadth of threads you're talking about. And if it fails, couldn't you just collapse the threads back into General Chat?
