Thanks for wondering. Yeah, I'm here, just not posting as much. It's hard to get back into the conversations when you've been out so long, but I pretty much lurk daily.

I hope you're having fun, Mr. Katsiris.
I've just had a peek at the link f.i.t.s posted and to say I'm jealous of the places you've visited is an understatement.

Look after yourself.

Yeah, I'm definitely quite enjoying things over here, though I'm not really visiting places at the moment so much as living life in a cool city - Melbourne. This includes work and all that good stuff. :) But I AM going to see Cirque du Soleil today which should be great. Those guys blow me away.

Which Cirque did you see? Was it one of the touring ones?

I've seen 5 now, and I wish I could've seen more. I got a late start, 'cause I thought is was some lame trapeze shit, but my mother-in-law made us go (and got us front row seats) for the one in Orlando. I've been hooked ever since. Incredible stuff. I don't think you could handle that shit on strong acid man.

Haha, probably not.

I went to see Varekai, a traveling show. Really fantastic, absolutely unbelievable talent that these people have. It's hard after seeing one to imagine that there is anything left in the repetoire, then you see another one and they do completely different and equally mind-blowing things.

Still, I have to imagine the best ones are in Vegas, where they can set up stages and do amazing things. I saw Ka there and it to this day is indescribably incredible when I think back on it. I'd almost like to make a trip there just to see "O" at the Bellagio. Which one is in Orlando?

The old Romanian contortionist is particularly impressive.

I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place

I could hardly watch, it looked quite painful. I was thinking to myself that if her spinal cord had any idea that it was being forced to twist and bend that way it would snap on principle.

It reminded me of that fight scene where Homer takes on Bart's bigger brother and is knocked over a fire hydrant. Even more painful than it looks.

The one in Orlando is called "La Nouba" and it's the best one I've seen, probably because it's a custom built stage and a permanent long running show. I'd love to see the ones in Vegas - they are probably even better, I'm sure.

Since I was in the front row, I actually got called onto the stage and a guy on a BMX bike jumped over me and a clown laying side by side. Intense! Being part of the show probably sold me even more, but I saw things I couldn't ever describe, and even if I did, no one would believe me.

The tag line for Superman, the Movie was "You'll Believe A Man Can Fly" - well, I believe I saw a man fly in that show.

The point is, fair readers, is - if you have a chance to see Cirque Du Soleil, take it. It's absolutely mind blowing.
