I'm really excited about the show. I believe it's on Sunday 15th July, though. Frank's playing a French festival on the 7th. |

I really hope that there's a Manchester date to follow! I am so skint at the moment a London trip isn't really feasible. Newcastle would be better but that won't happen! Frank should play solo at the Cluny. That would be amazing! |

I like the idea of the Man being on a mission to deliver the message of rock as far as possible, on one day. Haha!

Hopefully he makes it to Glasgow, it's like £100 to get the train to London from here, would probably be cheaper to fly to France.

Hey Blank Frackis - why not fly down to London? I could get a return to Stanstead for about £48 from Newcastle! Did the trip for the Pixies reunion gigs a few years ago and got down to the Brixton and Forum gigs. |

Im confused - they are currently being sold an aloud.com for the 15th. But here its listed as the 7th. My going depends on the date... How annoying.

Cool to see so many Northern fans, I'm tempted by the London date for fear of missing it altogether. Ziggy, when/where did Reid Paley mention Manchester. It'd be awesome seeing him in the Night and Day or something like that.

I saw NP there, was very good, also saw Jonathan Richman there, so I'm on my way too (would like to add SM to that mix too!). Would be great if FB played there. Although tickets will go super quick. I was surprised to see Electric Six play Night and Day, we saw Simple Kid the night before, and still couldn't believe E6 were playing the night after.

I saw Dick Valentine in the Bluecat in Stockport the same day a few hours before E6, it was great! But Night and Day is definitely one of the north's best spots, if only because I managed to get a gig there when I was with my old band. :) I couldn't imagine a better venue for Pavement though, alas it's not to be.
