Seriously, what the hell is with Subway? There’s 3 within a five minute walk of where I work, and a forth is opening soon right across the street. For some reason I just couldn’t stand Subway. I would avoid them completely. There was something about those places that made me feel weird. But, today, I tried out a “sub” (the one with the meatballs and honey oat bread), and DAMN
I still think they’re some kind of radical sandwich cell.

I don't think there's one within 80 miles of me.

I bet that there will be ten setup within the next month. And they'll all be in your living room.

I used to like Subway quite a bit. Then something happened in the last two or three years, and the quality -- at every one of the Subways I go to -- went down significantly. The ingredients aren't as fresh, the employees are unhappy; pretty much everything is opposite of how it used to be.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

There are two Subways I can get to within about ten minutes from my house. Until recently I'd never had a subway either but they've grown on me a little. This is mainly due to the fact that I work around the corner from one, and often forget to have breakfast/plan for lunch.

Subway makes the simplest thing hard work. Say I want a cheese sandwich. "What kind of bread? How do you want that bread? Toasted or grilled? What kind of cheese do you want? How do you want that cheese? What dressings do you want? What sauces do you want? What extra filling do you want? What else do you want?
Bloody hell I just want a cheese butty, you know...bread and cheese!
I'd rather just go to Tesco. Less hassle. Less money.

if you want a cheese sandwich why the fuck are you in subway
i nearly always go for a subway melt with tomato, lettuce, jalapeños and ranch sauce.

Because it's like...a sandwich place? Don't worry, I won't be in there again.

I like their veggie subs. Just curious is a guy named Jared their spokesman over there? I was just wondering if it was the same as it is in the US.

There's no "as" fresh at Subway. At least in N. America, they always use bagged and frozen shit from their warehouse on the east coast and I think they're basically the Starbucks of the sandwich generation, except their prices are more realistic and their product is less so. But that's my over-the-top opinion of them. And I've noticed especially here in Aus/NZ they really are everywhere.

Yet another Cheeseman:
I love Subway's steak sandwiches with mustard. Perfect after a night out on the electric soup. |

Uggghh...there are so many other, better sub-sandwich places near me than Subway. I dislike that place, but not as much as I dislike Quizno's. Quizno's gave me food poisoning last year. There's a Jersey Mike's (another national chain) that cuts all their deli-meats and cheeses fresh. Not only does it taste better, but you also get to have that uncomfortable thought of "what if the guy slices part of his hand off because he gets too busy and forgets what he's doing while he slices your cheese?" Well, at least I always have that thought, but the sandwiches are good for a chain.
I'd rather be anywhere or doing anything |

The chains don't come close to my local establishments.
Fuck Quizno's. They crow like they're the first motherfuckers on Earth to discover toast. Big deal!

Yeah but they got that cool contraption where your mostly lettuce sandwich goes in cold and then comes out the other end toasty! It still amazes me. And they only cost $8.00!!!!

In college there was a Subway, but the "u" in the light up sign was burnt out (for 4 years as far as I know).
So everyone called it "Sbway". It's heard to pronounce, but that's what I've always called it.

i've never been to Ireland.. i never pictured it as having shitty American chains there, but i guess that's the case everywhere. it's somehow depressing to me that they have Subway® in Ireland.
do you guys have Chuck E Cheese too?

Yeah, where are the shitty Irish chains here in America?
I mean, we have IKEA, but do we really get any other country's shitty chains?
I always wanted to eat at a Tim Horton's, but I'm pretty sure they only have them in Canada.
Also, I've noticed in Canadian fast food ads, they sometimes mention "process cheese" as one of the ingredients in, say, a breakfast biscuit. But they say it like it's a positive thing, like "buy our breakfast biscuit with sausage, egg, process cheese, and bacon." Is "process cheese" really something that should be promoted?

There are more Subway's in Manchester now than McDonalds. They are fucking everywhere.
They are quite nice, but way overpriced.
I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place
