Up in the chemist this evening, heard a live version of Mr. Grieves playing (sounded like it might be FB solo). There was just a afew staff memebers in the shop and I thought "Hmmm, someone's a Pixies fan!"
And that's it. |

Hahahaha.
I think hearing a live version of "Mr. Grieves" at a pharmacy is worthy of a thread in the Pixies forum. I've never heard Pixies out anywhere except the music store I used to work in because I was playing it. This one lady got pretty into "Ed Is Dead". |

think about that "DRUG STORE" two words but how about the history? you might STORE food in a cool dry place or even the fridge.

Come to think of it, it is pretty strange that we call it the "drug store." It's not really a pharmacy here, but more of a general goods store with a pharmacy in the back. Like a supermarket but without food.
I'm not in the Netherlands, BTW, but my head is for some reason...

I'm just popping back up to the apothecary, to see if they're still playing Pixies. |

On Living TV recently, there was an advertisement for Many Payinkin show 'Criminal Minds', and they used Where Is My Mind? |

I just saw Kings of Leon last night and the first song that came on after the lights when back on after they got done playing was where is my mind. Pretty cool I thought.

I heard velouria on a "wanadoo" broadband ad on tv last year
And on TodayFMs "Wall of sound" competition, "Here comes your man" is regularly selected as the choice of the entrant

I don't know where this post belongs (probably nowhere!) but I'm happy because I went to my girlfriend's house the other day and found a copy of Death To The Pixies. She's only bought it since we've been together so I think I'm having a good effect on her!

I caught the tail end of Cactus today on the radio. Having not listened to a Pixies cd in a while made the song sound extra tough. |

Better that than a cactus catching your tail end. The strangest place I heard a Pixies song was Tame in that Gillette razor ad. I won't be happy until I hear Cartman sing Debaser.
