I’m sure this kinda thing comes up often here, but I was hoping I could get some opinions on 13-14 best of Frank Black songs for myself, a Pixies fan, that wants to explore the best of Frank Black’s solo work. Granted, I could probably pick-up a full album like Teenager of the Year to start my journey, but I prefer sampling a best of (which I realize is subjective) like did with the Pixies several years ago (Waves of Mutilation compilation). As a side note, I fully realize Frank’s work is a musical departure from the Pixies sound (I’ve heard portions of Honeycomb, Raiderman, Dog in the Sand). I really like the song Bullet.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I have a Emusic subscription so access to songs is no problem.

I think that's a really good list. I agree with all but Sing for Joy (everyone seems to love that song but I just don't get it and I've tried....although I enjoyed a recent live version quite a lot) |

Nice lists, Bill. I find it hard, near impossible, to have a best of list without including a b-side or two. |
