I don't know if others love this cover as much as I do, but I think it's one of the greatest rock n roll images. And I don't even own it. But I want it.

Hahaha, the drummer sure got a raw deal on that one.
This one sprang to mind, Neutral Milk Hotel and the amazing tambourine-faced girl.
Fuck indie cred, I just really like that picture.

I bought that Neutral Milk Hotel album on vinyl for my sister for Christmas. Good choice. |

I never really looked at that Neutral Milk cover. I always just assumed it was some kind of potato on her head. |

Doog beat me to it, so I'll add to it like last time this topic popped up....
Still brilliant.
I quite like these too:
The latter looking much better in your hand and twelve inches.

but as dean will tell you, it's ok to repeat threads if they haven't been done in a while. why don't you just dig out what you did the first time and post it again. innit.

There's nothing wrong with repeating a thread anyway if you don't do it on purpose, but once the original has been found, surely there is no need for the new one?

This one is the serious thread. Unlike the first thread, this one does not endorse tongue-in-cheek posts. |

No need to apologise, I just thought I'd mention it becasue it made more sense to me for us to carry on in the larger thread.

Hi Surfer (and Happy New Year)....I actually bought the Manowar Anthology while in Holland, for about f17 (a year or so before the euro came in)!! In my personal opinion, it's actually one of the best covers ever.

This is one of the best covers of 2006:
