I'd be pretty okay with a triple-header. FB&C's, Breeders, and Pixies. That I would fly half way around the world for.

Why not make it an all day festival and include the Amps and the Kelley Deal 6000? And maybe Throwing Muses, for good measure!

Personally, I don't need to. I just kick back in this chair and wait for you to update me. DId you notice 'You're Such A Wire' is missing?
Bill, I don't think you can buy them yet. The links follow all the way to itunes then the store says "did not match any results". It's a tease, I tell you. The whole thing.

Looks like another demo he has listed (click the arrow next to the folder marked Demo), along with "rabbithole" and "thewater", is "getawayoil".
Totally interested in what this chRISTMASS show is. Especially since the following unknown songs are included: "Demon Girl", "Radio Lizards", and "She's My Way".
And also totally interested in whether "Pistolero" (the song) is an unreleased take from the album, or just an early title for "You're Such a Wire".

Yes. I have dreamed of a Subbacultcha tour featuring the whole Boston 4AD crew from coast to coast, Europe, and even down under, yuk yuk. But they need to get into it. It's not like they're getting any younger, as if we were. I mean, get Tanya and Kristin into it, and rotate the headlining. Hell, when I saw 50'~ the night before I saw Pixies I wasn't so sure who would headline on a twinbill of same. It would be fun, and they'd make money, dammit, as if that were at stake.

I'll second Ziggy. Wow. This version of Johnny Barleycorn is amazing. Not sure who's doing the drums behind him, but it really works well this way. The interview is great, too.

You talking to yourself again, coastline?
You're right about Barleycorn. fB's little riff after the "hey" part sounds so good. I don't know how well it would go down in Frank and La La (that be show biz) Land but I could listen to a record full of tracks like that. Stripped to the bone. |

I think I would have liked Fast Man Raider Man a lot better if it were stripped down like this version of Johnny Barleycorn. FMRM minus Jon Tiven equals much better. Just one man's opinion.

Help an aging fellow. So what the hell is this? Can you listen to the songs or is it a cruel new form of digital teasing? |

It's pretty much similar to Last.fm; it records what songs Frank's been listening to.
