When I've tried to edit a couple of topics I started recently, I've been getting:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'rs'
/post.asp, line 642
Anybody know what's up wiht this?!

Can you tell me exactly what topic, what it's named, what you attempt to change it to, what you're modifying, etc etc?

Actually, I'm still hoping to get that Article DB done, so for now just keep it in the news. I'm sure Soren would be happy to have help filling up the db if/when it gets done.

Well, I assume it's because they're 'started-topic' posts, because I can edit reply posts no problem! Otherwise, I have no idea why I can't edit them!!

So go and edit the Bobby Bare topic again. Can you? What about the other one? If it fails, can you edit and just add 'hello' or something simple? Does that work?

I get the reply box thing, with the font and color selection and all that, but no message box, so I can't actually type text (the error message is where the message box should be). In any case, it's no big deal, sorry about the hassle!!

Well, you're not the only one to report this, so I'd like to get to the bottom, not a hassle at all. We recently upgrade our forum to the latest version, so it's probably a bug and no fault of yours.
