"my heart is crammed in my cranium"
i noticed a similiar phrase is used in beckett's "endgame". knowing FB's interest in beckett's books, i don't think this is random.
what is the book / story "a wrinkle in time" about ? has anybody read it ?

What is the similar phrase?
"Now you're officially my woman. Kudos. I can't say I don't envy you." |

well, i just looked it up - it is not so similar as i had remembered:
"es tropft, es tropft in meinem kopf. es ist ein herz, ein herz in meinem kopf." (i have the german book)
my rough translation:
"it is dripping, it is dripping in my head. it is a heart, a heart in my head."
it would only be interesting if in the english version (i think endgame was originally written in french, and beckett translated it himself to english) the word "cranium" is used instead of "head". but i don't think so, since "cranium" would be more likely correspond to the german word "schädel". and beckett was very accurate when it came to translations of his books.
but, nevertheless, juxtaposing "head" and "heart" made me think of the song, so i thought i post that.

A Wrinkle in Time is this extremely Christian/anti-Communist book inwhich this gwaky girl, her genius brother, and a sterotypical irish-catholic kid travel to distant planets to rescue the girl's father. I loved it as a kid but found it loathsome as an adult.
A wrinkle in time refers to a tesseract, inwhich space is folded to travel long distances, much like in the book Dune.

Considering the title of the book, I'd say there's no chance it's random. |

I read it in 5th grade. I had no fucking clue as to what it was about though.
