Very interesting about this disapointment, as it is shared by many people in this forum.
I think the cause of it is fear. People are so afraid they only want one same thing all the time, like a little puppett to sleep with.
Like a kid crying: "No, no... I want my pixie puppet back. WAAAAAA!"
Frank get the money for the puppet sales but still wants to create his own monsters.
Then now, why not puting a new monster under the name of pixie? They will surely hate it but perhaps they'll finally began to grow?
If one day there is a new pixie album, I hope the first listen will be like "Wow, but WHAT THE HELL is that???", a real shock, and certainly not "Hey those good old pixies, ha ha, still the same good old alternative rock sound". |
