I was just commenting on his fantasy football performance to be honest.
He played much better than he has done for a while. Baby steps.
Speaking of babies, you're right, it's great to see Ole back.

Hmm, I'm having trouble deciding whether or not to use my transfers 'wild card' this week. I've got a couple of injuries in my team and generally just want to make a few changes.
But what if I have an injury crisis later on in the season and need to make some free transfers? Hmmm...
Anybody used their 'wild card' yet?

I used mine like an idiot cos I didn't know what is was for so I only made use of 2 transfers. Oops

Homers, you only want me to use it now in case I have an injury crisis later on, don't you?

Oh, it seems my two injured players aren't injured anymore. No need to change things just yet then.

Lucky you. 34 points, eh? That's more than my whole team so far this week.

I don't think any of my players have scored two goals in one game, let alone three, let alone be captain. Somehow I am top.

Yeah I played a good week this week. It was a gamble but it seems to have paid off.
Still a long way to go yet though.

I've just made 6 transfers costing me 20 points all together. Hope it pays off. It could backfire big time though.

I used it earlier in the season. I wanted to have more players who will be playing twice this gameweek. I'll find out if it's paid off after tonight.

Aparently he picked up a knee injury in training the day before the game. From what I've read he could be out for a couple of weeks, but that's just what I've read on some messageboards, nothing official.
I think he would definitely have played had he been fit.

Lennon and Terry were also out at the last minute, but my team still managed to do OK thanks to my choice of captain and inspired signing.

Not a bad week for me. Gilberto, Lampard, Alonso all scored and Heskey got two. Plus most of my defenders got clean sheets.
It's starting to get a bit closer at the top.

Heehee, I managed to get more points than homer last gameweek.
Watch out! You're getting sloppy. Alone on top and all... |

I had a terrible week over Christmas, but my last one was better so I am still on top for now. I have just had terrible luck with injuries (I'm starting to sound like Glen Roeder).

I didn't even know about the cup until a few days ago. I haven't checked yet.
I have paid the price for forgetting to make trasnfers last gamesweek.

Got knocked out in round three of the cup. Looking back, my decision to keep Shevchenko in my team from the start and also make him captain could be called into question. At least I still have Kishishev, he'll pull it round for me... |
