beware of cat people.

"According to a new study..." is such a brilliant phrase most common in reports about nutrition. Are there any HARD-scientists out there who would like to share their opinion on the validity of nutritionists as scientists (the whole everything causes cancer stuff)? Maybe it's the method of the reporting, every paper with a wild conclusion is aired and cited as indisputable, "scientists now say".

This may become one of my favourite 'Science' sites, straight from Star Trek:

A parasitic microbe commonly found in cats might have helped shape entire human cultures by manipulating the personalities of infected individuals, according to a new study.
