I've read a lot about it. Sounds good.
Where did you see it?

It certainly looks cool, but I fear it may be style over substance. I'll probably still watch it.

i think the style fits the substance in this case. the animation captures the dreamlike / hallucinogenic qualities of the story

Looks interesting, and like it would be cool to look at, but I've seen some clips from it on TV, and after about 30 seconds, I was ready for it to be over. I have a feeling it will drag; and Woody Harrelson gets exhausting pretty quick, except on Cheers.

wait, floop, I was just looking at your profile- I forgot about the beard thing and that you're a guy.
By the way, I really like what you wrote about the beard, especially where you say something like " not sure what to do next, beard-wise ".
Very good.

Anyway, sorry about the last post, but really, I'm not lying, floopster.

You can watch the first 24 minutes of it here (although it ruins the film, really, doesn't it?!):

Did you hear about the two 'crazy' musicians who are doing a remake of this? It's gonna be called A Scanner Barkley.

Once again, I apologise.

if anything, it would ruin it because of the simple fact that you're watching it on your compuer.

Watched this last night (and Children Of Men, which was quite good). Good stuff, very trippy and unsettling. Good performances and a witty script. Rotoscoped animation gets a bad rap, but it's use here
was very effective.
