| What about letting the word for the most part intact and just switch the first or the last, like I tried with ship to hips to ipso. That would prevent total chaos but open the game a bit. |

Call me a purist, but the integrity of a game is ruined when you change the rules or start cheating 30-some pages into it. I think the funnest thing that happened in this entire game was when Trobrianders declared victory because he boxed us into a corner a few months ago. And if I recall correctly (I'm sure my colleague Pixie Steven can double-check me on this, because he seems to have more time than I do), we started again with a new word and continued.
