Love that new KC song "Walk Away"- it's not just good for a Kelly Clarkson song, it's good. It's hard to like her after that "A Moment Like This" song, and sure, they're just trying to copy the success of "Since U Been Gone", but still, that song is a lot better than some of the things that "real artists" have been putting out.
By the way, a lot of critics have complained about Liz Phair's new polished sound, but I like a lot of her new songs better- they're genuine, instead of delibrately "indie".

You know what else is amazing? That old Ink Spots song "If I Didn't Care". Just thought I'd mention that.

I've never begrudged pop music. People like it. It's just not for me.
I don't sit around reading Shakepeare at night. I watch crappy television shows. I save my good taste for music. |

I've come to accept that people listen to pop music, many listen to it exclusively, and while that's not for me, the weird ass fucked up music that I listen to isn't for everyone. I wouldn't want it to be. Stay away from my Thinking Fellers Union Local 282!!! But yeah, I don't have that music snob elitist mentality. That's as bad as a preachy ass Christian, or worse, a hippy!
