They claim he did not resign, nor was he sacked. The offical line is that the relationship between the club and the manager had broken down.

Yep, the old 'mutual consent' line.
It's awful timing too considering they play Man Utd this weekend, but who knows, we often see shock results right after a manager leaves. Players will be wanting to impress whoever takes over.
I certainly didn't see it coming though. I thought maybe in January if Chelsea weren't in a strong position then he'd leave, but not now.

I think it will be good for us in the long term, but not in the short term. The players liked him so I am sure they will want to 'win this one for the gaffer'.

Damn wonder how much odds I would have got on that, probably not to much. Oh well, ressurected!!

Yeah I am not sure you would have gotten great odds on that.
I am pleased with our point at Arsenal on Saturday. It was a fair result, and it's encouraging to see our closest rivals celebrate a home draw so enthusiastically.

The official trying to stop Wenger hugging was funny.

I have a contact within the club and I can reveal that Wigan's next manager will be Jose Mourinho.

You can have Bryan Robson. He is good, honest.

Was he in any way responsible for your link up with Sao Paulo, or was that already in place before he arrived?

Was already in place, its been an ongoing thing since before we were promoted I think, off the pitch we have some good things going on. Shame we are a bit shit on the pitch. Thank jesus for James Beattie.

Sounds likely Jewell could be comin back Stu. Odd appointment considering you were no better last season than you are this. One man is sacked the other a hero. Jewell certainly knows how to time it.

I'd be disappointed with Jewell to be honest. He'll always be a hero for taking us up the divisions and keeping us there, as will Chris Hutchings (by Wigan fans, anyway), but by his own admission he's taken us as far as he can, so I can't see it being any different now.
[EDIT]Not that I'm totally against having Jewell back. If he comes back refreshed and ready for a scrap then fair play. But I could just see us in the same sort of position in a years time if we stay up.
