None of these pictures work for me and at the risk of sounding crabby s_wrenn you seem to post a lot after yourself by which I mean there are regularly five posts in a row from you. We've taken measures to try to stimulate more conversation in the forum but that doesn't mean conversing with yourself. Could you try editing your posts instead?

Sorry if it seems like that in this thread. But i was using this thread more as a place for updates of the latest releases from E3 as they come in. There is a lot more people visiting the thread than posting, and i kinda expected that when i was going to be posting mainly screenshots. So there is an interest there.

I actually don't just mean this thread. If you make a post and realise after you have more to add in most instances it would be better to edit your post rather than make another.
There are always more people viewing than posting, this isn't about interest. Although saying that having just checked two thirds of the posts here are yours.

Nah, I'm following along quite interestedly, just don't have much to say. It's a good info thread. Interesting that the pics aren't working for you...

I'm sure those women are hating every single second of E3. If you had to put on a fake smile for a whole week i'm sure you'd be pissed.

“Michael Mann’s 1995 epic crime drama ‘Heat’ is coming to next generation consoles” Does anyone else think that movie licensed games are getting a little out of hand?

Scarface: The World Is Yours (Multiplatform) {Completely contradicting the movie, he lives after the massacre at the films closing scene}

Those graphics are amazing. The facial features, especially. I think the PS3 was delayed because they they're waiting for Blu-Ray in come alone. Apparently.

The people i've talked to who bought a 360 complain that it felt like Microsoft shouldn't have released it so early. If they waited 9 months more they could have a better console with built in HD DVD drive and stuff. At least Nintendo and Sony are taking their time to get it right.

Yeah, I definitely agree -- it's the same principle as with sequels to movies. Hollywood has to diminish many great films to cash in on the same franchise later with sequels. So too it seems with games. (Would Mario Puzo EVER think in a million years when he wrote "the Godfather" that one day it would be a videogame?)

I'm personally looking forward to the Wii. It's nice to see someone thinking outside the box when it comes to direction that video games are going. I will also be nice to get hold of the Nintendo back catalouge of games - Prays for 'Zombies'
Hey Cult_of_Frank. Glad to hear you liked Psychonauts. Did it live up to your expectations for a Tim Schafer game?

Here's a game the kids will be queuing at dawn to buy: Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express (PC)

Sid Meier's Railroads! (PC) {I know Sid Meier has a lot credit for creating the whole God-Sim genre, but railroads? Railroads with an exclamation point?}

Wrenn, Railroads is already an established classic theme in the world of computer games. In fact, it really was Railroad Tycoon that was the grandfather of the recent 'tycoon boom', with Rollercoaster Tycoon being the father. I think there may even have been a Railroads! already, but I could be wrong.
One of the most addicting games I ever played was a game called Transport Tycoon, but I don't think there's anyone else out there who's played it. It was done by Chris Sawyer, who took the Railroad Tycoon theme and ran (quite successfully) with it and did, eventually, end up creating Rollercoaster Tycoon.

Oh, i know there are railroad games. But i was expecting Sid to be making moves upwards in gaming. Although, he usually knows what he's doing. I played a PC demo about nine or ten years where i was building roads connecting small towns. That's all i did for several hours. Very addictive. Can't even think of the name though.

I have been playing my mate's Nintendo DS all night, and I have decided to buy one. There will be four of us with them in total, which shoudl be great for Mario Cart, Bomberman and Metroid,

Here are just some random E3 pics.

Playstation don't seem to go for any radical changes with their controllers. It's a good basic design, really.

This was the protoype PS3 controller from E3 2005:
 Even though it got some bad press, i thought it would have been a good progression from the Dual Shock 2. I like the streamlined look.
Final Fantasy XII (PS2)

Gears Of War (360

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes (PC)
Command And Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (PC)

Since E3 is pretty much over, and there were tons of more games on show, I’ll just add these links:
http://www.gamespot.com/e3/index.html http://www.e3insider.com/
Both sites have trailers and videos from all the current, and next-gen consoles

It would have rocked. You never know, a year or two from the PS3s release you might be able to but the boomerang version instead. Plausible considering the first dual shock arrived a couple of years after the release of the PSone

I don't see that being especially comfortable. With your hands, presumably, on the lower end of the boomerand, it's be a bit of a thumb stretch to hit those buttons.

It was actually tiny. I saw a picture of it in someones hand in a magazine. That's why i think the shape would have worked. I guess we'll have to do with ol' reliable design.
