Clearly, you ate Maytag blue cheese before you went to bed last night.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

I was told that a dream about a spider was a sign that you will gain some money soon.

Yeah, I remember as a kid, those little spindly white spiders were nicknamed 'money spiders'. I can't remember, I think the old story was if you saw one, you got money! The other myth was that it rains when you kill a spider.

Well this is weird because it was a long time ago, but I dreamt that I was Flavor Flav. It was really vivid and I remember thinking I know for sure that I dream in color because the clock around my neck was red. Also, I'm Caucasian and thought it was interesting to dream being someone of a different race.
Anyway, I was short and had bad teeth in that dream, being Flavor Flav and all. Can't recall if I sang anything.
I also dreamt I was Navajo (I think) and could speak Navajo in the dream. I don' know for sure what tribe I was, I just say Navajo for convenience. When I woke up, I couldn't speak the language anymore, which sucks because I'm sure there was something profound in there.

No, they did not evolve.

Last night I had the strangest dream... I dreamed I went into a local bar called the City Cafe and fbc was there! I remember thinking "Wow, he looks just like his picture!" (I actually have no idea what he looks like) I think he looked like s_wrenn in my dream because I saw a picture of him yesterday. In my dream, fbc had a Tennessee accent which I thought was very funny!

I had a dream last night that I was at a Frank Black gig. I didn't want to wake up :(
Actually, reading that back it sounds a bit like 'I wanted to die in my sleep', which I didn't, but anyway it was a good dream.

I had a dream last night, some guy was screaming "HORROR TRADE, DOG HELP, HORROR DOG TRADE, HELP DOG HORROR, HORROR HELP, TRADE HORROR, HELP, DOG, HORROR TRADE!"
No idea what the fuck that was about, but I'm glad it was just a dream.
I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place

i had a dream a while ago where i had this pile of cassette tapes, and one was a pixies demo where frank was singing "make believe". it sounded good in my dream, but now that i think about it, it probably wouldn't.
oh, and i should post this in the "fb dreams" thread but i don't feel like looking for it.

I think those are the lyrics to one of the songs on Frank's next album.

I had a dream last night where I was on a beach, then on a field. I was playing football when all of a sudden some blokes on bikes turned up. So I got on one and started to pedal, over this big hill. When I got over it I realised I was falling down this huge valley but I landed perfectly. Then I went back to the beach.
Oh and I got arrested, but I think that was a different dream on the same night.
I like dreaming.

Dreaming is wonderful and strange. Here is one from my archives:
One night I dreamt about Morrissey. More specifically, that Morrissey wished me a happy birthday. Never mind that it is not my birthday, and that Morrissey doesn't know me. I also found it odd that he sent me his greetings by carving them into the cedar post of our mailbox rather than sending a witty card, but oh well.
I then dreamt that Janelle (my wife) and I had our first child, and while searching for something Morrissey-related on Google, Janelle discovered a link to a Morrissey-penned website congratulating us on the birth of our daughter. He also left his phone number on the bottom on the web page. Oddly enough, the number was in my area code. Janelle called, and whaddya know? Moz lives down the street from us. We both quit our jobs and toured the world on Morrissey's payroll.

I dunno if Kathryn is singing the Smiths song, but I am. And now thanks to floop, I'm singing "Last Night I Dreamt" while envisioning the video from "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before."

I had a dream once when I was little that I went outside my house and the Go-Bots and the Renegades were having a huge laser battle in my neighborhood. The strange thing was that I sided with the Renegades, and their leader Cy-Kill shielded me from the laser fire. What do you suppose that dream means, if anything?

Thanks, Kathryn - I never even knew that thread existed. I'm now convinced we have existing threads for everything on here. I shall take future Morrissey comments there and let this remain the dream thread.

Threadal influence (skinnies) caused me to have an odd dream last night. The short version is....mr bdh was at my house wearing only jeans (they were not the skinny ones). Soon, lots of other people showed up and we all went swimming (I don't really have a swimming pool). It was cold.
For what it's worth, biscuit, you seemed much older than you really are.
That's all. I'm a little bit embarrassed. |
